Delicious food, this place is one of few that can perfect a medium poached egg. Overall great service, fresh ingredients and well made coffee. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the portion size of the meal received is a little on the small side for the price paid (Eggs Benedict).
Definitely reccommend trying this cafe if you havnt already.
The Smug Fig is the perfect brunch spot. Lovely staff, great service, amazing food options - could not recommend it enough.
The mural inside is also awesome which follows on from the mural they had at the first restaurant.

I attended here for a takeaway coffee. With seats outside it was convenient to sit down and wait. With a flower shop next door. Great gift ideas for Xmas and for yourself or others in an assortment of flower pots and plants.
With a pet Greyhound in attendance - very friendly and mainly keeping to itself. For the coffee shop itself.... Seemed very busy for the time attended which is a good sign of a decent shop. Will go again to see their menu and sit in.
The Smug Fig, located at Stones corner is a beautiful cafe with lots of open space, friendly staff and an ample menu. We had breakfast. The food was amazing, but we wanted larger portions. Price was typical of what you would pay. Parking was easy and if you do a morning walk in the area the breakfast is well worth it. Drinks were delicious. I would visit again.
Just discovered. Large cafe for Stones Corner but a very pleasant surprise. Feels new and staff very energetic and attentive. Tea was good but most of all they have a chef who knows how to make poached eggs. Could not fault and i am fussy. Will be back just for that alone.
If anything the music a bit young where all you really hear is the bass. Understand it helps mute conversations but spoils a friendly cafe vibe. Would be better at afternoon drinks but probably more my issue for being old.

Great variety on their breakfast menu. Nice change of pace from the monotonous, standard breakfasts you’ll find at other cafes.
Staff are friendly & we got our meals promptly. Large inside seating. The menu is limited & a bit pricey for what you get. We did enjoy our meals, but wouldn’t return for lunch.
I was impressed by the venue, they nailed the vibe! Group settings are catered for so if I’d have bunch of friends or family you will fit right in.
The food was tasty enough for breaky! The mince meat special was exactly that - SPECIAL
The BEA was nice as well.
Unfortunately there was some timing issues with the food and drink.
Good to see places like this popping up.
